HC Deb 10 December 1985 vol 88 c589W
Mr. Murphy

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what representations he has received from individuals and organisations opposed to the Anglo-Irish agreement; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Tom King

As at 3 December 1985 the Prime Minister and I had together received comments from 387 individuals and organisations in response to the Anglo-Irish Agreement. The majority of these expressed reservations about or opposition to the agreement and came mainly from correspondents in Northern Ireland.
