§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what steps have been taken to ensure 471W consultation with the local communities affected by proposals for the Canary wharf site in the Isle of Dogs enterprise zone.
§ Sir George YoungThe London Docklands Development Corporation has instituted a regular series of meetings with local community groups. The corporation has met the Association of Island Communities, the Limehouse Development Group and the Docklands Forum to discuss proposals for Canary wharf. Further meetings with each group have been arranged to take place before Christmas.
