§ Mr. DunnMy right hon. Friend is already monitoring implementation of the provisions of the Education Act 1981 through routine statistical returns, reports from Her Majesty's inspectors, contacts between officers of the Department and local education authorities and voluntary bodies and by means of a major research project based at the University of London Institute of Education. The report on this project is due to be presented in September 1986.
