§ Mr. Chris PattenThe current estimate of institutional expenditure on equipment for phases 1 and 2 of the engineering and technology programme in 1985–86 and 1986–87 is as follows:

Allocations under phase 2 of the programme are provisional pending the receipt of information from institutions concerning additional industrial support made available to them.
The above figures do not include provision made in 1985–86 for equipment expenditure in later years of the programme.
