Mr. Deakins

asked the Secretary of State for Energy if he has any plans to implement a full physical separation of civil and military facilities and activities at Sellafield; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Goodlad

Amongst other conclusions, the final declaration of the non-proliferation treaty review Conference recommendedconsideration of separation of the civil and military facilities in the nuclear weapons states". Her Majesty's Government are considering this recommendation.
