§ Mr. WhitneyRegardless of their age, every effort is made to save the lives of patients receiving treatment by the National Health Service following injury. The Department has recently assisted in funding a major research project into trauma arising from road accidents, and has published a report on the medical effects of seat belt legislation in the United Kingdom: a copy has been placed in the Library.
