§ Mr. Peter BottomleyThe number of working days lost through stoppages of work due to industrial disputes during the 10 months to October 1985 is provisionally estimated as 6 million. This compares with 22 million during the corresponding period last year and a 10-year average of 9.7 million days lost for the period January to October 1975 to 1984.
