Mr. Peter Bruinvels

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will publish figures to show, aggregated for education authorities in London, for each year since 1978–79 (a) the number of pupils in nursery, primary and secondary schools, (b) the expenditure per pupil, in total and by sector, in cash and real terms, and (c) the total expenditure in cash and real terms; and if he will give the same information for Leicestershire.
