HC Deb 02 December 1985 vol 88 c5W
Mr. Sedgemore

asked the Attorney-General if, pursuant to his answer of 25 November, Official Report, column 362, warrants have been issued for the arrest of Mr. Peter Cameron Webb, Mr. T. Dixon or any other person in connection with the PCW syndicate and Alexander Howden case.

The Solicitor-General

No.

Mr. Arnold

asked the Attorney-General what have been the costs to date of the investigations into the affairs of the Peter Cameron Webb syndicate and Alexander Howden, referred to in his answer of 25 November, Official Report, column 362.

The Solicitor-General

Because of the diverse nature of the work undertaken it is impossible to estimate with any degree of accuracy the total costs involved to date. Much of the work cannot be separated out from the ordinary running costs of the Police Service and the Director of Public Prosecutions.
