§ Mr. Pikeasked the Secretary of State for the Environment how long he expects the discussions with local authorities on the implementation of the repairs identified in the departmental report into the condition of local authority housing stock in England to last; and if he will make a statement.
§ Sir George YoungThe report was discussed with the local authority associations during the Housing Consultative Council meeting on 27 November. It was agreed that there should be further discussions. We have not set any time limit for these.
