HC Deb 02 December 1985 vol 88 cc4-5W
Mr. Peter Robinson

asked the Prime Minister what is her best estimate of the cost of the Hillsborough summit on 15 November including the wages costs of security forces.

The Prime Minister

[pursuant to her reply, 21 November 1985, c. 271]: The best estimate of the costs of my meeting with the Taoiseach at Hillsborough castle on 15 November is £241,000. The greater part of this is accounted for by security. There were, in addition, costs of travel, communications equipment, press facilities, catering, staff and other services.
