§ Mr. Peter BottomleyWe have approved the Equal Opportunities Commission's code of practice. Paragraph 43 encourages employers to
consider with their employees whether child-care facilities are available locally or whether it would be feasible to establish nursery facilities on the premises or combine with other employers to provide them".The code came into operation on 30 April this year. The forward looking strategies are related to goals for the advancement of women over the period 1986–2000.
