HC Deb 30 April 1985 vol 78 c110W
Mr. Ashley

asked the Secretary of State for Employment what percentage of (a) able-bodied and (b) disabled people completing training opportunities programmes gained employment within three months of completing their course in 1983–84.

Mr. Peter Morrison

The results of the follow-up surveys of those who completed occupational courses under the training opportunities scheme in 1983–84 indicate that about 60 per cent. of ex-trainees were in employment three months after the end of the course. I regret that separate figures for able-bodied and disabled ex-trainees are not available.
