§ 17. Mr. Pikeasked the Secretary of State for Energy if, when he next meets the chairman of the Central Electricity Generating Board, he proposes to discuss the conversion of oil-fired generating capacity to coal.
§ Mr. GoodladIt is for the CEGB to consider whether, in the light of all the relevant factors, it should invest in the conversion of any of its oil-fired stations to coal. I will discuss with the chairman any specific proposals made by the board.
