§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeWe have received comments from 237 organisations. Of the 171 who referred to the recommendations on research, 99 were broadly in favour and 72 against. We have received over 4,00() letters about the report from individuals, nearly all of which express concern about research on human embryos.
