§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if any turtle products have been imported into the United Kingdom during the past 12 months.
§ Mr. ChannonImport permits have been granted for turtle products in accordance with European Council regulation No. 3626/82 which implements the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora within the European Community. However, information on the take-up of these permits for the last 12 months is not yet available.
