§ Mr. Gordon Brownasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what consultations have been held by his Department since the announcement of the Social Security Review on the position of students in (a) advanced education and (b) non-advanced further education.
§ Mr. WhitneyThere was considerable consultation following the announcement of the review of social security last year when members of the public and interested bodies were invited to submit their views, both orally and in writing, on matters relating to social security. These included the position of students as they related to the benefits system.
