§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will make it his policy, in the event of the abolition of the Greater London council, to allocate to the London boroughs the resources in transport supplementary grant to implement those bicycle schemes planned by the Greater London council.
§ Mrs. ChalkerIt will be open to London boroughs, in the same way as the GLC, to support worthwhile schemes, and they will be eligible to seek transport supplementary grant in the same way as all other authorities.
