§ Mr. GoodladThe CEGB has one dry storage facility for approximately 900 tonnes of spent Magnox fuel located at Wylfa nuclear power station. This is used for the temporary storage of spent fuel from Wylfa prior to its transportation to BNFL Sellafield for reprocessing. The board has no current plans to build new dry storage facilities for Magnox fuel.
