§ Mr. Moore[pursuant to his reply, 3 April 1985, c. 688]: Information on which to base a precise estimate is not available, but the amount of basic rate income tax deducted at source from such income, that was not subsequently repaid, is estimated to have been around 21½ per cent. of total tax revenue in 1982–83 and 1983–84.
