§ Mr. RifkindWe have a good relations with Sudan. There is a long and friendly association between our two countries. We have made a substantial contribution to the economic development of Sudan and are doing all we can to help resolve her refugee and drought problems. We hope that the Sudanese authorities will take practical steps to resolve their difficulties peaceably and thus restore stability and prosperity to their country.
