§ Mr. WaldegraveRate income — net of domestic rate relief grant and rate rebates—for local authorities in England in 1984–85 is estimated at £11.1 billion. This represents 52 per cent. of authorities' budgeted "Total" expenditure estimated at £21.39 billion.
