§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThe Committee on Safety of Medicines is responsible under the Medicines Act 1968 for promoting the collection and investigation of information on adverse drug reactions whether experienced by children or adults. Details of adverse reactions to vaccines and immunological products reported by doctors to the committee, including the age of the patient, are recorded in its computerised adverse reactions register.
