§ Mr. Cabornasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many export credit guarantees for exports to South Africa were granted in each of the years from 1979; and what was the total value of such guarantees for each year.
§ Mr. ChannonAs a large part of the Export Credits Guarantee Department's business is conducted under comprehensive policies it is not possible to advise on the number of guarantees issued in each year.
It has been the policy of successive administrations not to discuss details of the Department's exposure on individual markets.
