§ The Prime MinisterAny matters which were reported to a senior civil servant, or about which a senior civil servant was consulted, under the arrangements described in the note of guidance by the head of the home civil service, would be taken very seriously, and anything that needed to be done, by way of investigation or otherwise, would be done.
