Martin Smythasked the Prime Minister if she will list the Departments which have been represented at meetings of the Anglo-Irish Intergovernmental Council or its committees since November 1981; and if she will list the dates and locations of such meetings and the sections of the relevant Departments from which those officials came.

Member's question on 1 April, at columns 413–4, give information on ministerial meetings held within the framework of the Anglo-Irish Intergovernmental Council. The Departments most involved in the many meetings that have taken place at official level under the auspices of the520W Council have been the Cabinet Office, the Northern Ireland Office, and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
