Mr. Deakins

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1) what was the percentage share of United Kingdom steel and steel products exports taken by (a) developing countries, (b) the EEC and (c) other Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development countries in each of the past five years;

(2) what was the percentage share of the United Kingdom market for steel and steel products taken by imports from (a) developing countries, (b) the European Economic community and (c) other Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development countries in each of the past five years.
