§ Mr. FletcherThe management of domestic economic policy is a matter for individual member states. In the context of the draft regulation, I would have no basis tinder the terms of the Treaty of Rome on which to make representations. The draft regulation and its accompanying guidance notice make it apparent, however, that full account will be taken of member states' fiscal and other policies which affect market prices.
