HC Deb 31 October 1984 vol 65 c1086W
Mr. Parry

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services which recent representations he has received regarding the Warnock report on human fertilisation and embryology; what replies he has sent; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Kenneth Clarke

We have received over 150 letters from hon. and right hon. Members, 10 from Organisations and over 180 from the general public. We have acknowledged these and said we will consider what steps may be necessary to implement the report in the light of the public and Parliamentary response to its recommendations.
