asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will give a full and detailed breakdown of the cost of Operation Lionheart.

Mr. Stanley

Full and detailed costs of Exercise Lionheart will not be available for some time. A statement on costs will, however, be included in the final report on the exercise which I intend to place in the Library of the House.
