§ Mr. Peter WalkerDuring the last 12 months my Department appointed Cazenove & Co. and de Zoete & Bevan as brokers to the Enterprise Oil offer for sale, Wood McKenzie & Co. as independent advisers on price in relation to that offer and Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. as reporting accountants for the offer. S. G. Warburg & Co. Ltd. were also appointed in connection with the privatisation of the British Gas Corporation's interest in the Wytch Farm oil field.
My Department makes use of advisers or consultants in connection with other matters whenever they would usefully enhance or complement in-house expertise. A complete list of every appointment is not readily available and could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
