HC Deb 29 October 1984 vol 65 c866W
Mr. Parry

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list the organisations he has consulted concerning the future use of St. George's hall at the latest date; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Patrick Jenkin

I would refer the hon. Member to my reply of 23 October at column552. I have since received a representation by letter from the Royal Institute of British Architects. The future of St. George's hall is a matter in the first instance for Liverpool city council. I understand that it is still considering the several options and that it has consulted a number of local and national bodies. I have received no proposals from the city council as yet.
