asked the Secretary of State for Energy on a fuel-used basis, what percentage of electricity produced by the Central Electricity Generating Board was from coal during June, July and August, respectively.

Mr. Goodlad

On a fuel used basis 46 per cent. of electricity produced by the Central Electricity Generating Board in June was derived from coal. The figure for July was 42 per cent. and for August 35 per cent.
