Mr. Dobson

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) if he will give for the latest available year and for each health district, the total number of beds in private hospitals, nursing homes and clinics registered under section 3 of the Nursing Homes Act 1975 which contain operating theatres, the total number of state registered nurses working in those institutions and the appropriate whole-time equivalent figure and the total number of all nursing staff working in those institutions and the appropriate whole-time equivalent figure;

(2) if he will give for the latest available year and for each health district, the total number of beds in private hospitals, nursing homes and clinics registered under section 3 of the Nursing Homes Act 1975, the total number of state registered nurses working in those institutions and the appropriate whole-time equivalent figure and the total number of all nursing staff working in those institutions and the appropriate whole-time equivalent figure.
