§ Mr. Wallaceasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the policy of his Department concerning the introduction of an option to repurchase or reversion clause into the disposition in circumstances where an agricultural holding owned by him is sold to a sitting tenant at a price representing 30 per cent. of the vacant possession open market value.
§ Mr. John MacKayIt is not the policy of my right hon. Friend to introduce into a disposition of sale a repurchase or reversionary clause as this would be counter productive to the Government's policy of disposal of their land settlement estates.
