Mr. Meacher

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what would be the cost of introducing a minimum wage for a 40-hour week of (a) £80 per week and (b) £100 per week in the National Health Service, with pro rata payment for part-time workers, irrespective of possible repercussive effects at higher wage levels.
