HC Deb 26 October 1984 vol 65 cc749-50W
Mr. Corbyn

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what will be the effect on the budgets of Islington, Haringey and Camden health authorities of the closure of Friern Barnet hospital; and how many patients will be affected, for each authority, from Friern Barnet.

Mr. John Patten

I understand that North-East Thames regional health authority has not yet taken any final decisions on the proposed revenue allocations to the districts concerned with the local re-provision of services currently provided at Friern hospital. Information is not available centrally on the number of patients for each authority likely to be affected. I suggest the hon. Member approaches the regional health authority for detailed information on progress on planning and the re-provision of Friern hospital's services.
