Mr. Meacher

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list all the reports of the Social Security Advisory Committee and indicate all recommendations by the committeeommittee which have not been implemented by Her Majesty's Governent either in whole or in part.

As the hon. Member is aware, the Social Security Advisory Committee normally reports on most changes in social security regulations. Its reports, together with the Government's response to its recommendations, are published as Command Papers. A list of the titles and numbers of such papers published to date is as follows:

In addition the committee has published two annual reports, containing wider observations on social security administration and policy, which the Government take into account in their own consideration of these matters.
