§ Mrs. ChalkerBritish Rail and London Regional Transport have a duty under the London Regional Transport Act 1984 to co-operate for the purposes of coordinating the passenger transport services they provide. My right hon. Friend has set the chairmen of BR and LRT objectives for closer co-operation, and a programme of work is being carried forward under the new London Passenger Transport Group.
