§ Mr. Leightonasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he is satisfied with the number of placings on the community programme by the East Ham jobcentre during 1984.
§ Mr. Peter MorrisonThere are no community programme projects in the immediate area served by East Ham jobcentre, but the jobcentre is assisting in filling community programme vacancies in other parts of the London borough of Newham and other nearby London boroughs. Between 1 January and 5 October 1984 the jobcentre placed 42 applicants on to community programme projects.
