§ The Attorney-GeneralThe Lord Chancellor has noted with interest the recent remarks of the Master of the596W Rolls, which clearly call for careful consideration. The question of the principles underlying eligibility has been referred to the Advisory Committee on Legal Aid for consideration in its current programme of work. When the Lord Chancellor has received its report, he will consider all matters involved, including the availability of and implications for resources.
