HC Deb 24 October 1984 vol 65 c598W
Sir Nicholas Bonsor

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what progress there has been on the family reunification and personal cases which he raised with the Soviet Foreign Minister during his visit to Moscow in July.

Sir Geoffrey Howe

I am pleased to say that the Soviet authorities have issued exit visas to three persons whose cases I raised with Mr. Gromyko. They are Aleksey Terletskiy, who wished to visit his son, my hon. Friend the Member for Cardiff, West; Miss Flora Leipman-Kaplan, a British subject who wished to return to the country of her birth; and Miss Lyudmila Kuzmina who wished to visit her fiancé who is a British subject. All three are now in this country.
