§ Mrs. ChalkerAs I told my hon. Friend the Member for Eastleigh (Sir D. Price) on 22 October, at columns 420–21, hundreds of firms and trade associations have written protesting to the GLC about its proposals and demanding a public inquiry. I would hope that, in the wider interests of London, the GLC is now giving proper and serious consideration to these representations.
