HC Deb 23 October 1984 vol 65 c538W
Q59. Mr. Roy Hughes

asked the Prime Minister if, following the withdrawal of full evening meals from the patients at St. Cadoc's hospital, Caerleon, Newport, Gwent, she is satisfied with the handling of nutritional standards at this hospital and that sufficient resources have been made available by the Government in this regard.

The Prime Minister

Maintenance of nutritional standards at St. Cadoc's hospital is the direct responsibility of the Gwent health authority. I am satisfied the authority is exercising this responsibility with the interest of patients fully in mind and that it has all the resources necessary.
