§ Sir George YoungThe further construction work at Mount Pleasant to enable the garrison to be concentrated there, is divided into two phases. The value of phase I for which the Laing-Mowlem-Aimey Roadstone joint venture is the main contractor is £27 million including shipping and other services. The comparable figure for phase II for which the Wimpey-Taylor Woodrow consortium is the main contractor is £92 million.
