§ Mr. Tam Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Defence (1) how long it was before HMS Conqueror's sighting of the General Belgrano was relayed to the task force from Northwood;
(2) at what time the request from Admiral Woodward that the General Belgrano be sunk was received by Northwood;
(3) how long the elapse of time was between the drafting of the sighting report by HMS Conqueror on 1 May 1982 and its receipt by Northwood; and whether there were any communications difficulties between HMS Conqueror and Northwood.
