§ 72. Mr. Andrew MacKayasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement on progress towards compiling a full list of developable land owned by public bodies in cities.
§ Mr. MacfarlaneThe registers of unused and underused public land which have been published under the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980 include developable land in cities. Sites of an acre or more are listed, and nearly half the land has been assessed as having potential for development.
