Mr. Cohen

asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will provide a breakdown by ethnic origin of those (a) applying to and (b) accepted on the youth training schemes in Waltham Forest; and if he will break down each figure by sex.

Information is not available on the numbers of young people applying for the youth training scheme. In the London borough of Waltham Forest, the number of entrants to the youth training scheme by ethnic origin and sex for the period April 1984 to mid-November 1984 was as follows:
