§ Mr. Andrew F. Bennettasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will list the postings of Commander Wreford-Brown, Commander of HMS Conqueror in May 1982 from that date until the present; how much time he has been on sick leave during that period; and whether he has had to have any specialist medical treatment.
§ Mr. StanleySince commanding HMS Conqueror, Commander Wreford-Brown has served on the staff of Flag Officer, Plymouth, has commanded HMS Valiant and is currently serving on the staff of Flag Officer, Submarines. Between appointments he has taken normal leave. Though we do not comment publicly on the health of individual service men, it would be quite wrong to draw any inferences from this as to the health of this particular officer.
