§ Dr. McDonaldasked the Secretary of State for Employment (1) if he will indicate, on the basis of the labour force survey carried out in spring 1984 (a) the number of unemployed female claimants, (b) the number of unemployed women registered at unemployment benefit offices and (c) an estimate of the number of female discouraged workers;
(2) if he will now publish the results of the labour force survey carried out in spring 1984; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Peter BottomleyResults from the 1984 labour force survey are not yet available. Preliminary information will become available in the second quarter of 1985 and will be published in theEmployment Gazette and in an Office of Population Censuses and Surveys monitor. It is hoped that a fuller report will be published by the end of the year.
